Sage N Sour is a predominantly sativa strain created by the breeders at TH Seeds as a potent cross between the largely popular Sour Diesel X S.A.G.E. Hybrid.

"We have experience growing the Sour Diesel part of this genetic line, and have smoked the S.A.G.E. a couple of times, I’m excited to see this resinous incarnation of these two genetic lines," said Durango Cannabis Company's Head Grower Billy Miller.

The S.A.G.E. stands for Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium, a well balanced Haze crossed with a robust Indica that produces a power- packed plant that can reach over 20 % T.H.C.

Fast becoming a legend, S.A.G.E. took 2nd place in the blind test of the 2001 High Times Cannabis Cup. Better yet, the hash made out of the S.A.G.E plant won 1st place in 2000, both of these victories were based on overall strength and quality. "High T.H.C. and low C.B.D. make this plant a perfect head stash variety," said Miller.

S.A.G.E. is packed with spicy sandalwood flavors combined with a long-lasting and uplifting high that is perfect if you're in need of some classic Haze rest and relaxation. "This strain has a longer flowering time than some, but is rewarded with large buds that will seem to double in size in the last few weeks, so definitely be patient," said Miller.

The Sour Diesel comes from the Chem 91’ and originated in New York in a small grow room owned by a man named AJ, "this side of the lineage is known for the higher quality of bud that it creates, that is how it received its name," said Miller, "Once people knew about the high quality weed they were Sour, so to speak, especially when they weren’t able to get it."

"Sour Diesel, a sativa dominant strain that can get the heart pumping. This strain provides a very energetic high, is adventuresome, and a great creative catalyst, which is why it should definitely be tasty with the S.A.G.E.'s, earth and diesel tones," said Miller. This strain is sure to boost of mental awareness and creativity.

"Given this strains lineage and the different phenotypes it can possess you are likely to find some extremely tasty Terpene profile along with a good balance of uplifting energy, happiness, and euphoria," said Miller. "Users should also expect classic looking nug, very green, with an abundance of dark orange hairs, and a good coating of crystals.  It may also be accompanied by possible purple accents, and heavy color flushing when flower cycle has come to completion." Overall Miller said, "this plant is a heavy yielder given the plant size. Early in Vedge this plant behaves like a fast forming well – spaced Sativa, which seems to fill out more like an Indica, with 'coke can' nuggets filling in on the end of flower, this may require some trellising and extra support."
